From
the North:
Take New Jersey Turnpike South to exit #9 (New Brunswick). After exiting
the tollbooth, bear right and follow signs for Rt. 1 South
(Princeton-Trenton). Take Rt. 1 South approximately 18 miles (watch for
sign for Fischer Place, you should be in right lane).
Take next exit - right onto Washington Road (this is a traffic
circle, a Gulf Station on the right) towards Princeton.
At the 5th light (1.5 miles), turn left onto Nassau St./27. At the first light on Nassau Street turn right onto
Witherspoon Street (to the left will be the main gates to Princeton
University). The Alchemist & Barrister is 50 yards down Witherspoon
Street on the left. Look
for slate blue building with burgundy shutters.
From
South Jersey:
Take I-295 to Exit 7B (Rt. 206 N-Princeton).
Follow 206 North for approximately 6 miles (towards Princeton
Rt.206 is called Stockton Street) to intersection of 206 and Rt. 27 North.
Bear right onto Rt. 27 North (this is Nassau Street)
At the second light, turn left, onto Witherspoon Street.
The Alchemist & Barrister is 50 yards down Witherspoon Street
on the left. Look for slate
blue building with burgundy shutters.
From
Philadelphia:
Take I-295 North to exit 7B, Rt. 206 N/ Princeton, follow directions
into Princeton above.
Parking:
There are meters in the downtown area and they cost $1.00 per hour and
do not have to be fed after 7:00pm or all day Sunday.
There are two municipal lots on Spring Street, one has meters the
other has a booth. (Pre-pay if you are going to be there after it
closes) There are two
parking garages on Palmer Square, one on Chambers Street, the other on
Hulfish Street.
