The Alchemist & Barrister Restaurant was the brainchild of a Chemist & Attorney 30 years ago, hence the name.
Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Princeton, The Alchemist &
Barrister Restaurant is one of Princeton's favorite local gathering
places. Featuring two newly renovated dining rooms, a patio area (open
year round) and a traditional Pub, the restaurant serves internationally
influenced fare, plus daily specials for both lunch and dinner. In
addition to a full service bar, we offer a good selection of beers on tap as
well as an exciting and eclectic wine list. During the warmer months
the patio is open air, located on a walk through alley leading to Palmer
Square from Witherspoon Street. The dining rooms feature an atmosphere
perfect for an intimate dinner, business function or celebratory event,
while the Pub is a comfortable place to meet people and enjoy the live local
music on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings.
The Alchemist & Barrister Restaurant
is open seven days a week, serving lunch from 11:30 until 2:30 and pub
fare from 2:30 until midnight, Monday thru Saturday. Dinner is served
from 5:30 until 10:00 Monday thru Thursday, until 10:30 Friday and Saturday
and 5:00 until 10:00 on Sunday. An a la carte brunch is served every
Sunday from 11:00 until 3:00.
